Offline Mode (During the Event)

  1. Pre-Event Setup (Online Mode):
    • The event staff (scanner) logs into the mobile app.
    • They tap the “Download Tickets Offline” button, which securely downloads all ticket/order details for the event into the device’s local storage.
    • This process ensures that the scanner has an up-to-date list of all valid tickets before going offline.
  2. During the Event (Offline Mode):
    • While scanning attendee tickets, the app references the locally stored list to verify authenticity in real time.
    • The scanner can seamlessly check in attendees without requiring an internet connection.
    • Each successful check-in is stored locally on the device with timestamp and ticket details.
  3. Post-Event or Once Internet is Restored (Sync Mode):
    • As soon as the scanner’s device reconnects to the internet, the app automatically synchronizes all offline check-ins with the central online database.
    • This ensures that attendee records, check-in status, and reports are fully updated across all systems and devices.

Key Benefits:

  • Prevents disruptions in attendee entry due to poor connectivity.
  • Guarantees accurate ticket validation and prevents duplicate entries.
  • Provides peace of mind for organizers hosting events in areas with unstable networks.
